For more that 30 years, he worked in plastics manufacturing, primarily in sales, marketing, engineering, product development and project management. During this time Phil traveled nationally and internationally resulting in over 2.5 million air miles.

His care for his fellow man, burning desire to find meaningful purpose in his life, close interaction with many differing personalities in business, the exposure to regional and international tribal beliefs and a great deal of time spent alone allowed for deep introspect resulted in dramatic lifestyle changes.

Following his heart, and against most all things logical he left a life long career and started on a new road mostly unknown. In 1990 Mukee apprenticed to the Sweet Medicine SunDance Path of Turtle Island, a traditional matriarchal shamanic lineage. The Sweet Medicine teachings encompass alignment with the elements of creation through individual and collective alchemical ceremony. All five aspects are harmonized and integrated — emotional, physical, mental, spiritual and sexual. Kumar was born in a tiny country called Trinidad which is the southern most island of the all the Caribbean Islands. Born the last of 8 kids, he was raised with eastern believes and schooled in Christianity. Personal preference is one of a more connection with self and the universal energy some call source. He moved to Canada when he was 17 years old and have spent all his adult life in North America. He has lived in many Provinces of Canada and many States of the US, today he calls Phoenix, Arizona home due to the power spiritual energy in that part of the world.
